" Aaaahhhhhh !!!" Nishit yelled, gripping my hand as brutally as he could. His popcorn flew in air and landed on my hair and on floor. In last 45 minutes, he had done this like six times. I was extremely annoyed from him.
" Royyyyyyy !!!" He cried hiding behind my left shoulder. I had no expression on my face.
" It's human, nishit." I said, bored while he was shivering behind my arm. He peeped and sat on his seat.
" Ohh yess, it's human. " He said, relieved. A jumpscare came on screen and he practically jumped on his seat. He was about to shout when I started hitting him continuously.
" Why did you come, huh? Why did you come.?" I cried in frustration, curling in my seat. He just looked at me, eyebrows furrowed. " Close your eyes, and don't watch movie." I ordered.
" But it's interesti--," he was about to protest but closed his eyes when I raised my hand to hit him. He was completely asleep till interval. I tried to free my hand from his but he was holding tight. I looked at him peacefully sleeping on the chair and a smile crept my lips. No matter how big and scary he looks, he is just a grown up baby. I watched rest of the movie without any disturbance. When movie ended, I tried to wake him up.
" Nishit, nishit." I gently shaked him.
" Aaahhh !!" He woke up, scared and I laughed.
" The movie has ended, let's go." I informed him and he let go of my hand.
" What happened to the boy and the girl ? " He asked rubbing his eyes.
" He died for her." He looked at me surprised.
" I would never die for anyone." He said standing up. " Let's go."
All of us left the theatre. Me, naina and ahaan was ready to leave when kabir or kunal stopped us.
" Isn't it too early to end the day ?" He said and naina nodded.
" What about we go bowling and then we return to university." Dhavit suggested. Naina looked excited.
" No thanks, we are leaving." Ahaan said stubbornly.
" Looks like our dear ahaan is scared of loosing." Nishit provoked him and ahaan shot him a glare.
" I bet I am much better player than you." He said taking a step towards nishit, warningly.
" Ahaa, then how about you prove it." Nishit also stepped forward. Oh god ! They are going to fight ? I stepped between them and they both looked at my tiny figure which didn't even reach their shoulders.
" Don't fight guys, we will come." I told Dhavit and they both maintained distance.
" I know a nice bowling court, it's about 5 km apart. Let's go there, I will call them to book it. " One of the twin said and everyone agreed.
" Naina, you can join me." Dhavit said and naina moved towards him. I moved to ahaan.
" Roy, " nishit softly said. " Come with me." I turned to him, a subtle expression on his face. I looked at ahaan who was not pleased. How do I say no to him when he is asking too politely ?
" Roy, come with me." He said now more softly and I walked to him. The twins jumped to ahaan and all of us went to our cars. Oh my god !!!! Am I going in his Maybach ???
I was mesmerized, seeing the car this closely. I was scared even to touch it. He opened the passenger seat's door and I carefully sat not to disturb anything. He sat on the other side.
" Be comfortable, it's fine." He said and I slightly relaxed. He leaned towards me to put the seatbelt on and my stomach curled from uneasyness. Our faces inches away, his grey eyes looking in my brown ones, they don't look blank now. He locked the seat belt and adjusted his. The engine roared and I was pulled backward from the sudden force. He adjusted the speed to normal. He changed the position from map and I asked.
" Where are we going ?"
" I want to go somewhere first. " He said his eyes on road. After like 5 minutes, he stopped the car and stepped out. He opened my door and I did the same. It was an ice cream parlour. A big one.
" I was craving ice cream." He said and went inside and I trailed behind him. The cold air of AC bit my exposed skin as I stepped inside. He pulled a chair and I sat on it. " Wait, I am coming."
He put two cups of mint chocolate ice cream infront of me. My favourite. He put one in front of him.
" You know it's my favourite ?" I asked him and he looked surprised.
" Ohh really, shit ! I should have brought another one." He said showing fake disappointment. I shaked my head, chuckling slightly.
" Why did you bring two cups for me and only one for you ?" I asked.
" Because you are a glutton." He teased me, smiling. We finished the ice cream. It was the best mint chocolate ice cream I have ever eaten. We went to the bowling court.
" Where were you guys ?" Ahaan asked.
" She was having motion sickness." Nishit said and I looked at him, disgusted.
" Are you okay now ?" Dhavit and ahaan asked me and I nodded. " Let's make teams. Three teams."
" Roy." Nishit called me and I hummed. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me beside him.
" Okay, aarushi in nishit's team." Dhavit said. What ? He wasn't calling me, he was choosing me ? Ahaan looked challenging. Naina, ahaan in one team and Dhavit and Kabir. Kunal had injury on his finger so he became judge.
After some rounds, almost everyone was sure that we will loose because of my stupid skills but then nishit taught me and I became better. Even though we didn't win we were second and third was Dhavit and kunal. Nishit and ahaan insisted on a solo match and they ended up almost fighting. After all of this we returned university.
