Music recommendations : jaane kyu by vishal-sekhar and Vishal dadlani.
My eyes opened, I was sitting on the floor, leaning on the wall. Papers scattered around me. I checked the time, it was 2:49 am. Kunal's asleep head on my left leg and Kabir's on my right. I looked at their tired face and smiled a crooked smile. Poor boys ! How hard they have to work.
Exactly one week and three days have been passed. Noone of us ever got the chance to sleep in our dorms. They do rehearsals, plans for photoshoot, their performance. Ahaan has to handle all the stage work, I have to make sure that everything is in order. We have become pretty close, we don't feel awkward around each other anymore as we are practically living together.
Nishit and ahaan fights time to time but no serious fights have taken place. Even sometimes they pair up to tease me. It doesn't sound too real but dhavit and ahaan are now casual friends. Twins switch sides time to time.
Nishit was sleeping on sofa his music book on his face, his legs on ahaan's chest who was sleeping on the other side. Dhavit was awake, shuffling through his guitar chords. He looked at me and I softly smiled, my eyes squinted because of brightness. I carefully set the head of twins on a pile of paper. Kabir held my hand and put it under his head and I softly chuckled. What in the heaven did I do to deserve this sweet grown up babies ? I waited for some minutes and then pulled my hand. I walked to dhavit.
" We decided to wake up at 2:30, didn't we ?" He said, looking at his watch. I nodded.
" It feels like a sin to wake them up !" I said, looking at all the boys. I sat beside him on the stage where all the instruments were set. Kunal handled the drums while Kabir's instrument was electric guitar, dhavit and nishit was vocals but dhavit mainly handled the guitar and nishit mainly did the vocals. The twins look jokers but have mesmerizing voice and so does dhavit.
" You are too kind, aren't you ?" He said, staring at me. I crookly smiled. He patted my hairs and I looked at him. " Your hairs are flying ." He said and I fixed them.
" Let's wake them up, now." Dhavit said standing up. He moved to the twins and I moved to my two jerky big babies. I shaked ahaan slightly first.
" Ahaan !! Ahaan " I shaked his face and he opened his eyes. He Rubbed them and stood up. He hugged me, his eyes squinted, his hairs messy. He sleepily smiled and went to washroom. The twins and dhavit followed him.
I took the book off from nishit's face. Why does he always scowl in sleep. I leaned towards his face and carefully put two fingers between his eyebrows. His expression relieved and I smiled. He opened his eyes, our faces just infront of each other. I stepped back and he sat on sofa. His messy hair more Messier.
" Where am I ? What time is it ? Who are you ?" He said, innocently scratching the back of his neck and an unexpected Laugh escaped my lips. Look, I wasn't wrong about ' big baby '
" You are at Jupiter. It's 4pm in the morning and she is Deepika Watson." Ahaan teased him and he threw a pen at him which he dodged. It hit kabir who didn't look bothered.
After freshing up, they started to rehearse and me and ahaan started to work on some lists. After like fifteen minutes, I went to give water to them and kunal hung on my shoulders from behind like betaal.
" Aarushi !!! " He cried and I patted his arm to calm him. " I am hungry."
" Me too, broo !!" Kabir joined him and he released me.
" Do you want some chips ?" I asked and they shook her head.
" I am also hungry, by the way." Dhavit said and ahaan agreed.
" What do we do, then ?" I asked to noone particular.
" Let's sneak in in kitchen. You can cook something." Nishit suggested and everyone looked at me. Suits him. I shook my head vigorously. But they pushed me to the gate.
" There is noone at the kitchen right now, only guard sits outside the lunchroom. If we paas the lunchroom then we will be successful." Dhavit wishpered to all of us as we tiptoed on the ground. Ahaan stepped on a twig and I hit him on his shoulder on which nishit snickered.
As we reached the enterance of lunchroom, we saw a guard sitting on a chair, sleeping, his cap slipping from his head and I doubt he will wake up even from the earthquake.
" Let's go. " I said leading the way and the boys trailed behind me. I slowly opened the gate and they entered, I closed it and moved to the kitchen. When we made it to the kitchen, a sigh of relief escaped my lips. All of us looked at each other and laughed on our stupidity after a short pause.
I never would have thought of breaking such big rules in my life but it's worth it. It's worth doing mischieves if they result in such beautiful smiles. If this is what people call trouble, then I am a troublelover gladly. As long as they have these beautiful smile on their face, I am willing to do whatever it takes.
" What do you guys want ?" I asked shuffling through some ingredients.
" Anything !!" Twins chirped, making spatula their Wands. I ripped it from them and ordered them.
" You both go sit there." They both saluted and left. I slightly laughed at them. Dhavit joined so they dont cause trouble there.
" Pasta ??" I asked both of the men who was staring at me continuously and they nodded. After 5 minutes, ahaan had to go as he is not good with smoke but nishit stayed even though he coughed some times.
" You can go !!" I said and he refused.
" I am here so you don't set yourself on fire." He roasted me and I turned my attention to the pasta. He put his both hands on the both sides of counter and peeped into the pasta through my shoulder. His chest touching my back. I could feel his uneven heartbeats and wished he couldn't feel mine. Because it was beating frantically.
