Everything is a mess. The rehearsal room. The dance practices. Our rehearsals. As annual fall is reaching closer all we are doing is panic. We boys are sitting on stage discussing about some chords and all. She is sitting there on sofa, her hands in her hair as she pulled them in frustration, paper scattered around her. Both the dogs are sitting on floor doing some random works.
" ARGHHHHHH !!!! PUPPPYYYYY !!!! " She screamed, standing and moving to him and all of us stood, alarmed. She held him by his collar and we all moved to them to stop her, although I had no intentions of doing so.
" Wha--what's wrong, sweetheart ?" He stuttered, moving backwards. Ahaan stood behind him making him stand in one place.
" MR. SHAYAAN SEHGAL, LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW WITH BOTH YOUR USELESS EARS FULLY OPENED. " she said and all of us knew that full name was a bad sign for him. He gulped and nodded abruptly.
" DID I NOT TELL YOU TO MEET THE DECORATORS AND FIX THE DEAL ?!" she asked in a harsh tone and his eyes widened as realization hit him.
" Oh yea- yeah. I totally forgot about it. I am really sorry. I will go tommo--" he was about to finish when a shrill yelling reached our ears.
" FUCK YOUR TOMMOROW !!" she cursed and we were visibly surprised. " YOU USELESS BASTARD ! THEY ARE ALREADY BOOKED NOW !! WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW ?? HUHHH !! WHAT WILL YOU DO ??!! " She pulled his hairs and I couldn't help but laugh at his poor state.
" Sorry sorry !! I wil--will make sure to bring the best decorators at any cost. Please aarushi one chance !! Stopppp !!! I will go bald !! I promise I will find someone !!" He screamed but she didn't stop.
" YOU BETTER DO OTHERWISE I WILL MAKE SURE TO HANG YOUR BODY ORGANS AS DECORATION. "
" I will. I will. Now calm down, sweetheart !" Before I could say anything she yelled at him.
" DONT CALL ME THAT UNTILL YOU CLEAN THIS MESS !! " She yelled and a feeling of proud ran in me. My girl, my girl, my girl. "YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHI--" she again started cursing him but before she could do anymore I lifted her, tucking one hand around her belly and one hand on her mouth. I effortlessly carried her onehandedly while she struggled in my grasp. My little wildcat is light. I carried her to the ground. She bit my hand and I released her.
" What is your problem ??!" She arugued, irritated, hitting me on chest but it didn't move me even a bit.
" That's enough." I calmly said.
" You are noone to tell me. Step aside. I am going !" She said and it made me upset. I agressively moved to her and her back collided with a tree but I placed my hand behind her so that it wouldn't hurt. I leaned towards her face but moved to her left ear.
" Do you really mean it ?" I whispered in her ear and I could tell by her uneven breaths that she wouldn't answer. " Am I really noone to tell you ?" I wrapped my arm around her waist and she still didn't answer. " Should I be something special to you ?" I moved towards her lips and this time she pushed me. A smile slipped on my lips as I saw her cheeks flushing and I ducked my head.
" Sto--pp bully-bullying me by your silly tricks. " She stuttered and I looked up.
" Wait here. I am coming in few minutes." I softly said and she nodded sitting on grass.
He returned with a bag in hands. He grabbed my hand without any word he took me to the left side of garden. He layed on the ground, facing the sky. He tapped on ground beside him and I also followed his order. He took something from his bag and passed to me. It was two sheets.
" cover yourself with sheet, it's cold." he said, his eyes still on sky. I did as he said and also adjusted my gaze to sky.
" Have you ever done stargazing?" He asked, looking at me and I shook my head.
" Tell me fun thing about stars !" I said and he amusingly looked at me then back at the sky.
" You know Venus is a morning star." He said and I exclaimed.
" Really ? I didn't know that ? Do you know which one is that ? " I asked and he shook his head.
" You can't see it today." He said with a disappointed tone.
" Why ! I really wanted to." I asked.
" Because it only appears on valentine's day. You can see it in early morning on that day. " He said and I looked at him in disbelief.
" Haha ! You must be making a fake story about it." I laughed and he chuckled.
" Is it that unbelievable ?" He asked.
" Ofcourse. How romantic ! " I dreamily looked at sky.
" Roy." I looked at him but he was looking at sky. I slightly hummed and again gazed at stars.
" I want to see it with you." He said.
" What ? "
" The Venus star." He answered in his heavy and deep voice. I looked at him only to find him already looking at me. His gaze was so intense that I felt like I would melt under his warm gaze.
" Too bad Mr. Ahuja. We are no where close to Feb." I said, smiling as I looked at moonlight falling on his clear face. The night was dark but his eyes was enough to light this whole city on its own. I felt a gust of disappointment as I said those words because I also wanted to see that star with him but it's all going to end soon. There's nothing I can do.
" So stay with me untill Feb. " He said in no joking tone and I could feel my stomach stirring. My toes curled
under blanket and my heartbeat rose.
" Actually no, roy. Stay with me always. "
