The way he said those words felt extremely diffrent. Me sleeping on his arm, his chin resting on my head as if it belongs there, his pinning me on tree, whispering in my ear, everything was different. I realised that everything in my life now is far away from normal. Naina was right. Something big was really waiting for me but I still haven't figured about good or bad.
Well, taking my mind off of him I went to take a shower. A nice hot bath was I needed right now. When I came out it was already 9 which means practice would've been started by now. So I quickly rushed to my wardrobe, picking a black oversized jeans and a lavender kurti. I made a loose messy bun of my semi curly hairs and applying cheek and tint I left from there.
When I reached practice room, nishit was surrounded by a group of students who were sitting on floor and nishit on the floor of stage. His guitar was in hands and his messy hair on his forehead as he looked down. Why does he have to look that good in front of girls. He looked at me for a brief second and I could feel my stupid butterflies dancing in my whole body. I sat on sofa infront of him.
" Aati hai vo aise chalke jaise jannat mai rehti ho. Dekhti hai sabko aise jaise sabko vo sehti ho." HisΒ Mesmerizing voice found its way to my ear, soothing every little cell of my body. But it took less than a second for girls to scream their Shit out. I felt a prickle of jealousy. For whom he was singing this now ? He looked at me, smirked and then again looked down.
" Par gusse mai jab aaye aur aankhien vo dikhlaye. Ladte ladte galti se muskaye...." This time he sang looking directly at students, slightly smiling to them. And now my anger rose which was maybe visible on my face but what can I do ? I can't fight it.
" My dil goes hmmm...." His dear audience sang with him. And I shifted my whole attention to the paper in my hand or atleast I tried to. Finally I stood up only to find him standing just two inches away from me. He took a step closer.
" What are you doing ?" I hissed as lowly as I could. He took a step closer and then suddenly he fell on sofa behind me. That triggered me.
" Karti hu jab usse baatien lagta hai sone vala hai. Soke jab jab bhi vo jage lagta hai rone vala haiΒ !" I sang before anyone else could and he was definitely not expecting this one. I glared at him and he tilted his head with amusing smirk on his face. You wait mr. Ahuja ! I moved to puppy who was on stage talking to someone on call.
I took his hand in mine. Sorry puppy ! I am really sorry for using you like this. My eyes fixed on nishit watching every little change in his facial expression.
" Par chupke se vo aaye bina neend se mujhe jagaye. Le bahon Mai aur khud hi gir jaye." I sang, smiling which also surprised puppy because last night I was thirsty for his blood and now I was singing for him. Well I was not singing for him technically. I hugged puppy but my eyes glued to nishit. I could feel his jaw tensing and I immediately let go of puppy, absentminded.
" My dil goes hmm...." The students sang and puppy took my hand again in his, making me dance on Rythm which made nishit stand up from the sofa, his jaw clenched.
" I have to go !" I told puppy and hurried to the Almost empty garden.
" I am coming--" I heard him saying to someone and I increased my pace.
" Hey !! Roy ! Stop right there I am warning you." He yelled which made me chuckle slightly.
" You won't be able to catch me, mr.ahuja. you're so slow. " I said now laughing harder, looking back.
" Ohh really ! Watch me, troublemaker! " He said before he started running like he participated in marathon or something. Now that is scary ! I ran as fast as I could.
Now we were running in the whole garden like two maniacs. My pace slowed and it took him less than five seconds to catch me.
" Got you ! " He said, holding both my shoulders, panting heavily. We both sat on ground." What were you doing ?"
" What ?? " I said still out of breath.
" With that dog, for Pete's sake, roy. Are you that dumb ?!" He said, throwing his head backwards.
" His name is shayaan !"
" No thanks. I like to call people according to their appearance and behaviour. " He answered which earned him a glare from me.
" I was dancing with my bestfriend. What else ? " I answered.
" Ohh ! I thought you were threatening that very same bestfriend that you will hang his body organs as decoration. I must be mistaken!" He said in his best sarcastic tone.
" Hahah ! Very funny !" I said in my best sarcastic tone.
" Troublemaker, I have a gift for you !" He said, his one hand behind his back. His smirk was telling me a different story.
" Oh my god nishit ! I swear to god if you do something I'll take your life out of your body !!" I threatened, standing and he stood up too, his smirk growing, his hand still behind his back.
" Nishit ! I am telling you ! Don't ----" before I could say anything else, he raised the water pipe infront of me, drenching every inch of my body.
" Haha !!! How was it ? " He laughed like he won a trophy or something.
"Β NISHIT AHUJA !!! YOU BASTARDDD !!! YOU ARE DEAD !! " I screamed and he ran, still laughing. I took the pipe and tried to drench him but only hit his back. Leaving the pipe I ran behind him.
" RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN BECAUSE IF I CATCH YOU, YOU'LL REGRET YOUR BIRTH !!" I yelled, running in my wet and heavy clothes.
" You can't, troublemaker !! You're too slow !" He said, looking back and I ran faster. But as per my faith, I collided with someone.
" Ahhh ! " I groaned in pain and nishit stopped. I could feel his footsteps towards mine. I looked up to see a lady, well dressed, looking at me with a disgusted expression,three bodyguards behind her and I moved back.
" Are you okay ?" Nishit asked me and then looked at the lady.
" Mom ! " He exclaimed.
